- **Event Description**: Artists Malory Graham and Anne Rose explore what it means to share your work and step into visibility in real, accessible ways.About this EventGoing Public: Unconventional Action Beyond Traditional Art LimitationsSharing your work in ways that feel real, accessible, and possibleFor April, The Work Beneath returns to a paired artist format with a slightly different structure, focusing on what it means to “go public” as an artist. Going public can look many different ways. It might mean showing your work for the first time, sharing with friends or family, stepping into your community, or finding ways to exist outside of traditional art spaces. This conversation explores both the courage and the practicality of sharing your work. Not just the big leaps, but the smaller, often quieter steps that make visibility possible.Featured artists Malory Graham and Anne Rose will each share a short talk reflecting on how they have navigated sharing their work publicly, followed by a brief joint Q and A.From there, the evening will shift into a guided audience activity for those who wish to participate, inviting exploration of your own relationship to visibility and unconventional ways of sharing your work. You are also welcome to simply observe, reflect, or take in the conversation. This evening centers honesty over performance, presence over polish, and connection over perfection.Pay What You CanWe believe that presence, curiosity, and honest engagement are forms of support just as valuable as financial contributions.Whether you give with your wallet, your time, or your attention, you are helping sustain this space for artists and stories that matter. You are welcome to attend without registering. Seating is limited and first come, first served. All are welcome, whether you come to participate, listen, reflect, or simply be in community.Event DetailsDate: Tuesday, April 14, 2026Time: 6:30 to 8:00 PMLocation: Wolverine Farm Publick House (Upstairs)Hosted by: Liz Ortiz and Stacey SicklerAbout the ArtistsMalory Graham is a multimedia collage artist, filmmaker, and educator whose work explores transformation, memory, and everyday awe.
